Privacy Policy

Heetsesh is operated by Chukwuka Daniel Ibejih, based in Nigeria. This policy explains how personal data is handled when you use Heetsesh. Contact: support@heetsesh.com.

Two roles

Heetsesh handles data in two distinct roles:

• For our own customers, we are the controller of the account information we collect when you sign up and use the dashboard.
• For the analytics you collect, we are a processor. When you install Heetsesh on your website, we store data about your visitors on your behalf. You decide what is collected and you are the controller of that data. We process it only to provide the Service to you.

Information we collect

• Account data: your email address and authentication data. Billing details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Paddle, not stored by us.
• Usage data: how you interact with the dashboard, for security and to improve the Service.
• Visitor analytics (collected for our customers): page interactions, clicks, scrolls, session recordings of the page structure, device, browser, operating system, coarse location (country only), and referrer or campaign tags. Form inputs are masked by default and Do Not Track is honoured. We do not store visitor IP addresses; an IP is used only momentarily to derive the country and is then discarded.

How we use data

We use data to provide, secure and improve the Service, to communicate with you (essential account emails, and product emails according to your preferences), to process payments, and to meet legal obligations.

Sharing and sub-processors

We do not sell personal data. We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run the Service, each processing data only to provide their service to us: DigitalOcean (hosting), Cloudflare R2 (storage of session data), our email provider (sending email), and Paddle (payments, as Merchant of Record).

Cookies and local storage

The Heetsesh tracking script uses your browser local and session storage to assign anonymous visitor and session identifiers so that activity can be grouped into sessions. It does not use advertising cookies.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained for the retention window of your plan and then deleted. Account data is kept while your account is active.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your account data by contacting us. Inside the dashboard you can delete an individual session or erase all data for a visitor. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection law.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including masking of form inputs and encrypted transport.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
